How to stream your curling games with OBS and Haxis Live
Add TV-style scoreboard overlays to your club stream in OBS, sign in without a password, and score live from a phone.

Haxis Live adds broadcast graphics to your club stream: a scorebug, linescore, rock tracker, player percentages and league standings. They’re plain web pages, so they drop into OBS (or any streaming software that supports browser sources) and need nothing installed.
You need the live scorer role (or club admin) at your club. Ask your club admin to add it under Users.
1. Sign in the streaming computer, without a password
- On the streaming PC, open live.haxis.ca. It shows a short code.
- On your phone, open the Haxis app and go to Profile → Haxis Live → Sign in on a computer.
- Enter the code. The computer is signed in for four hours.
No passwords get typed into, or saved on, the shared rink computer. When you’re done, Sign out live sessions in the app signs out every device at once.
2. Add the overlays to OBS
- In the Haxis Live console, open OBS links.
- Copy the link for the graphic you want (scorebug, linescore, rock tracker, player % or standings).
- In OBS, add a Browser source, paste the link and set the size to 1920 × 1080.
- Repeat for each graphic. Each one sits in its own layer, so you can arrange them however you like.
Pick a screen position, a dark or light theme and your club’s accent colour in the console. The overlays respect broadcast-safe margins and never show a spinner or an error on air.
3. Choose the game
- Put a game on air to stream a league or bonspiel game. The scores you enter go straight into the official standings.
- Or start a quick game of 6, 8 or 10 ends for exhibitions and fun nights.
4. Score from the glass
On your phone, choose Score live on this phone. The console takes one tap per rock, even while rating shots, and has undo, extra ends and concessions. If a second device starts scoring the same game, Haxis warns you.
Toggle graphics on and off from the console and they animate in and out on the stream.
Tips
- Score from a phone and run OBS on the PC. The console is designed for one hand at the glass.
- Turn on the player % graphic if a stats recorder is rating shots. It fills in live.
- The standings graphic highlights the two teams on air, which is perfect between ends.
