How much does Haxis cost?
Nothing, right now: no per-member fees, no credit card, no contract. We built Haxis because we were tired of running our own club on spreadsheets, cork boards and software that was never made for curling. So it’s built by curlers, for curlers, with the features curlers actually ask for. Down the road we may add paid options to keep it going. If we do, the clubs that joined early, and the people who helped spread the word, will be looked after.
Who is Haxis for?
Curling clubs. It’s built for the people who run leagues and bonspiels (club admins, coordinators and scorers) and for the curlers who play in them. Club broadcasters get Haxis Live.
Do you sell our members’ data?
No. We never sell, rent or trade personal information, there are no ads, and the app has no advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to see how the app is used, tied to an internal ID, never your name or email address.
Who can see members’ email addresses?
Only your teammates and the club volunteers who manage your team. Emails are kept in a private record, never on the roster or anywhere public. With spare requests, the team and the spare swap emails only once the team accepts them.
What devices does it run on?
The Haxis app runs on Android, iPhone and in any web browser at app.haxis.ca. The admin console and Haxis Live run in a browser.
How do we get our club on Haxis?
Get in touch and we’ll create your club and its first admins. From there you can import teams from CSV, build or import your schedule and invite your members.
Can we bring our existing schedule?
Yes. Import a schedule from a spreadsheet draw grid (CSV or Excel) and teams from CSV, or let the generator build a new one.
Do our members need an account?
Anyone can browse schedules and scores as a guest. An account lets curlers enter scores, get reminders, request or volunteer as a spare and see their own stats.
How are shots rated?
On the Curling Canada 0–4 scale: 4 is a perfect shot and 0 is a miss. Sweeping is rated 0–4 too.
Can we stream our games?
Yes, with Haxis Live. Add the overlays to OBS as browser sources and score from a phone. Scores from a league or bonspiel game go straight into the standings.
Does Haxis handle bonspiels?
Yes: divisions, pools, draws and pool standings today. A/B/C/D knockout brackets and a hat draw are coming soon.
What about mixed doubles?
Leagues and bonspiels have a mixed doubles format that adjusts spares and lineups. Haxis Live is fours-only for now, and mixed doubles is on the roadmap.
Which languages are supported?
This website is in English and French. The app is in English today, and more languages are on the roadmap.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, any time, from the app or on the web.
Ready for your best season yet?
Haxis is free for clubs. We’ll help you get set up.
